Hikes to the Falls

All day hikes to the Falls! 
 
Rancho del Oso has 3 gorgeous waterfalls, but it is 7 miles one way and you need to start early!  Bill Rhodes, a very experienced docent who works here and at the other side of Big Basin , will lead most f these hikes.  He goes slowly, has an extensive knowledge of natural and human history and is very personable as a hiking partner.  Hikes will go every 4th Sunday and start at 10:00am from the ranger station.  Call the nature and history center 831/427- 2288 to reserve or just show up with lunch and water and energy to hike!
